Valentine’s Day 2021

Well, I was single for another Valentine’s Day. However Valentine’s Day is about celebrating LOVE. So I spent it with my family, and for dinner I made spaghetti and meatballs as a little nod to Lady and the Tramp!

This year also was strange in the fact that I didn’t work and if someone is living under a rock Valentine’s Day is a pretty big date night... but in other news after four months of woodwork restoration I am finally able to start to paint my dressing room!

Were in for another winter storm here in Pennsylvania so try to stay warm!

Yours truly,

Nicklas

Only 4 Days Left!

 Have you been good?

Did you sent some letters?

How many cookies did you make?

Did you decorated?

New Appreciations

I never really appreciated the little thing about fall till I got older. Fall use to represent just a time before the holidays, and I never really thought much more about it. However now I see how the simplest of things such as a leaf in a puddle can be a thing of beauty and how mother nature has a bigger picture then our own.

I know the work that goes into making homemade chicken soup and how on the right day it can be that much more special especially for sharing. I understand part of what makes a home feel more welcoming isn't just the front door, but it is the energy and joy it gives off. Fall has become a time to anticipate switching out to new home scents that fills the home for memories to be formed.

Oh and lets not forget that is it truly fall till you bake a pumpkin pie or two!

How have you've grown?

Yours truly,
Nicklas

A Visit to a Orchard

I was with my mom today and on our way home my aunt made a suggestion for a alternate route home. So being that it was completely spontaneous we wound up finding ourselves at a local apple orchard that neither on of us knew was in town. So when life gives you apples you make homemade apple sauce and homemade apple pies! Maybe this is a good sign for fall, but I can't wait to have the house fill up with the overwhelming scent of fresh apples and cinnamon!

Nicklas
