It turned out to be such a lovely day outside here in western PA! The sun came out and it is nice and warm! In fact it is above 50 degrees which is amazing for February.
The ice is all beginning to melting away and some of my spring flowers even starting to stick their noses out of the soil. Now if only this weather would last the rest of winter, and hopefully if your weather looked like mine you remember to wear some sunscreen!

Two days of removing two inches of solid ice off of the sidewalks is a real pain... but today is hump day as well as one day closer to spring! I don’t think I mentioned it for a while but I am seriously over winter!
It looks like tonight will be another night for a heating pad...

Well, I was single for another Valentine’s Day. However Valentine’s Day is about celebrating LOVE. So I spent it with my family, and for dinner I made spaghetti and meatballs as a little nod to Lady and the Tramp!
This year also was strange in the fact that I didn’t work and if someone is living under a rock Valentine’s Day is a pretty big date night... but in other news after four months of woodwork restoration I am finally able to start to paint my dressing room!
Were in for another winter storm here in Pennsylvania so try to stay warm!

I will say one thing that always makes me sad as a guy is that I never get invited to baby showers... yet that never stops me from buying presents for the new little one! And since I currently have far to much time on my hands I wanted to give my gift a little personal touch so I decided to do a quick Prismacolor drawing for the gift tag!
I can not be more happy for this child’s future parents! Her father was originally married to one of my older cousins, however that didn’t work out and he is better for that... I like always think I got him in the divorce! And of course there is a much long story for that! I absolutely adore his new wife, she is one of the sweetest persons I’ve ever met! They had both wanted to start a family so bad and come March 29th their family will grow from two to three and they’ll have their new titles as Mother and Father!
Even though he is no longer married to my cousin I still think of him as family, and she is too! And can I just say this pandemic MUST get under control cause I want to hold a baby before she is walking! Just say...
